MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik visits Thane and Mira Bhayander to thank voters

After receiving immense support from voters in the Thane constituency, newly elected MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik visited Thane and Mire-Bhayander to thank the voters.

Thane was known as the stronghold of the Shiv Sena, it was called as the fort of the saffron party. But after 25 years creating history, UPA’s candidate Dr. Sanjeev Naik stood victorious above all odds and broke this rule of the Shiv Sena. To thank the voters for giving him the support for his victory, MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik visited thane and Mira Bhayander where he was welcomed by a huge crowd of supporters. Speaking to the media, he stated that after receiving the support from his voters, it was time for him to fulfill his promises. Already begun on this mission, he informed that got the proposal sanctioned for providing 100 MLD of water in Mira-Bhayander and in the coming two months 30 MLD of water supply would be started.

Speaking on the issue of dumping, he stated that a meeting would be soon held to tackle this issue. He stated that the residents of Mira Road and Bhayander were not just facing difficulty with the rail services but traffic commotion was also a cause of concern for which flyovers should be constructed. Besides this the underground sewerage pipeline work at Mira-Bhayander which got the funding of Rs 450 crore under the JNNURM was underway which will bring relief to the residents during monsoons.

He also stated that he would stay active in providing adequate bus commuting for the commuters of Mira-Bhayander to Dahisar, Borivali, Malad, and Jogeshwari. Under the JNNURM 250 buses have been sanctioned to the Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation. While everyone is aware of the progress and development of projects in Navi Mumbai due to the determination and hard work of MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik, voters of Thane and Mira-Bhayander are now hoping that Dr. Sanjeev Naik spells the same magic for their region.

  1. Dear Sanjeev Sir,
I also request you to look at the traffic problem near Kashimira junction and also look for a possible solution(may be a flyover).
Also,as a Engineering student,I am disappointed that there are no Engineering or Medical colleges between Dahisar and Virar.
I see you as a visionary and i hope u will solve most of the problems faced by Mira-Bhayender residents.
    Good Luck!!

  2. Sir,
Hi i am a resident of Mira Road and travel to Nerul for education purpose. I would like to request you to ask BEST, NMMT & MMRDA to start AC Bus services from Mira Road(Golden Nest Circle) till Vashi or Belapur via ghodbunder thane like the one which they already run from Borivali. Also i would like to bring to your notice that its not only i alone who travels on this route. As you know sir Mira Road Bhayandar being a densly populated area there are many office goers who travel on this route in the morning & evening wee hours. Also in morning many people travel through private cabs of call centres going to thane and vashi by paying Rs.50/. I think they should consider operating an AC bus on trial Basis on this route for a month in the morning and evening wee hours and see the response. It will be a revenue generating route from Golden Nest Circle Till Vashi or Belapur Via Thane. Also it will be very helpful for the thousands of people travelling on this route. Also the Buses which MSRTC run from Bhayandar to thane are in very Bad Condition and people are forced to travel in those buses as they have no other option.
Sir it will be very helpful.

    Tc, Regards

  3. Sanjeev Sir,

I am a resident of Shree Srushti located on Ram Mandir Road, off Ghodbunder Road, Thane near Hypercity mall. The Ram Mandir Road starts from the Sai Nagar Bus stop to the Ram Mandir at Kasarvadavali. This road is in real bad shape. With much efforts and continous follow up with the TMC officials and NagarSevak the road was repaired just for rainy season so that senior citizens, school going children, ladies do not have any problems using the road. However all the efforts have gone wasted since the drainage water from the Parshvanath Engg College (New) have washed away all the WBM material on the road making it the worst road for any kind of usage. Inspite of reminding & requesting the TMC officials to take strict action against the college for diverting the drainage water off the road no action has been taken for the past 12 months. All our requests with TMC officials for a seperate drainage system has fallen to deaf ears. I would request you to kindly intervene and help in easing the drainage and road problems by taking up the matter with TMC officials at the earliest. I would also request youto kindly visit the site to get a first hand veiw of the problems faced by Ram mandir Raod residents.
